In other words, if you're not a fan of grinding and you prefer to have some context behind your rampage, then chances are The Color of Madness is not going to be up your alley. ![]() I haven't had the time to play it myself, but from what I've seen online the community opinions are currently quite divided, as you would expect from an entire DLC centered around an endless mode. This is a page about any upcoming features planned or hinted at for Darkest Dungeon. You can get a bit of a sneak peek at what all of this looks like in-game through the recently posted trailer down below. Red Hook announced that Darkest Dungeon II would be releasing in early access in 2021 on the Epic Game Store. While it doesn't expand upon the story in any major way, it does bring with it an Endless Quest mode, an all new faction of corrupted farmers, three new bosses, four new districts, and naturally, a whole bunch of items and quirks to toy around with.
